 Armadillo lizard

I purchased an armadillo lizard about 1 1/2 months ago. i know they are supposed to be shy, but he really doesnt do anything at all. he hides pretty much all day. I can see is tracks around the wnclosure once in a while. im just worried hes really stressed from somthing. I am also wondering if anyone knows how to sex an armadillo lizard. Im not having much luck with finding anything online so any help will be fine. -nick

 Armadillo lizard

hey, i just read your post. i too have an armadillo that i have had for about 5 months. it is quite possibly the shyest, most easily stressed lizard that i have ever seen. it just hides under its log most of time, only coming out to bask for a little bit of time each day. i was just curioius what your armadillo has been up to...and how big is it?
