they are cool lizards to watch, especially when you feed them. They are not the best for handling, and could stress out easily from handling. THey can be prolific breeders if you have a male and a female.
1 can be kept in 10 gallons, two in 20 gallons.

find the latin name for grass lizard (or scientific name) then look up the latinname+care+sheet on google. You’ll probably get more of what you’re looking for that way.

Lemmi start you off with your search.

Takydromus sexlineatus is their latin name.

i dont have any pics, but males have a large bulge under their vent, females dont.
They can be prolific breeders. If you give them enough space, and long grass, they will lay eggs in the soil by the grass. Usually a cool down period isnt necessary to get them to breed.

 Grass lizards?

u said grass. does that mean i need to put grass in w/ them. i know they r called grass lizards but i never read that they need it. oh i couldn’t tell if they were male & female because they squirm around and won’t let me c. can u tell by their markings?they both have a line down their side, but on has a black one and the other is brown.(it practically blends in w/ the body) and the one w/ the black line seems to be more aggressive.

you dont need too, and many people dont because then they would need soil, and water it, and drainage layer (gravel), but grass lizards love grass and it helps stimulate natural behaviour. In the wild, they will lay their eggs in the long grass, so in order to make their cage natural grass is a good option.

As for sexing, the bulge is the only reliable way.
Most males will have darker stripes, brighter color, and some will even have yellow spots on their sides. These other ways are unreliable, as some females will show these characteristics as well
