 East Feeding

In honor of Easter weekend, and the availability of amazing deals on seasonal prey items, I decided it was time to introduce my rapidly-growing baby Brazilians to rabbit pinks.

Unfortunately, I’m saddened to report that none of the babies recognized the value of this strange new food type.

Would any of the more experienced keepers have any insights as to why that is?

The prey is carefully introduced.

The baby examines the prey item.

This is where things go wrong. The baby is clearly not interested in this—

Hey, look, a camera!

I’m so outta this greasy spoon…

One final attempt at prey re-introduction.

Sadly, I cannot recommend these cuties as snake prey, bargain though they may be.

And…

Have a great April everyone!!!!

(BTW, I hope to start posting weekly on the rainbow forum on Reptic again soon, so please check there every now and then!)

LOL....I was gonna go an and say all about how it took awhile for my kings to convert...1 king to this day will not eat a rabbit pink. He gets so pissed off when offered , I think he is freaked out by them.
