 Red Headed Agama--Sick or hibernating?

We bought an agama about a week ago. They fed him lettuce the day I was picking him up, a week after they told me lettuce gives him the runs. He’s only been home in his new terrarium for 6 days now, and about 3 days ago, he started sleeping a lot. Now he eats maybe one mealworm a day if he does eat. We just made him eat 2 wax worms and a 1/2 mealworm. But he acts lifeless at times and sleeps upside down in your hand. He’s not acting like he did at the store.

He’s still bright colored, but starting to shed. He barely moves and has started to play dead. The pet store doesn’t know his eating habits, they ’just threw some worms in there.’

His terrarium runs about 84.5 at his basking spot, and up to 88 towards the top. His humidity is a little high (35%), I think it’s the fir bark substrate. I’ll be changing that.

Very worried about our new pet’s health. Or, is he starting to hibernate? Please tell me it’s good news.
