 Can you mix red and black necked agama??

hi my name is Rebecca
i have just started reading about the agama lizard. my beared dragon passed away this year and i have been thinking about getting another breed of lizard, does any one have a agama? are they easy to tame? can you hold them? what do they eat? how many can you have in a 4ft by 3ft tank? can you mix the black necked agama with the red head? how many males can you have ??? how large do you get? as big as a bearded dragon? are they easy to look after?
does anyone know a really good internet site i can get loads of information about them?

I had a pyramid agama and as far as I know they need a minimum of a 10 gal each so you could probably fit about 4 agamas in there, depending on the species.
Never mix species even if they are the same genus! It will cause stress to the lizard and they have different requirements.
One male per enclosure.Same as with dragons.They also use a similar enclosure as beardies.But please, don’t use sand.It WILL cause impaction quite easily.
For me, my agama was pretty easy to tame.He only ever bit me once when I first got him and that was mainly my fault for teasing him with food(I was seeing how well he ate).You can hold them but be careful, they tend to run at random and they run insanely fast.
As for internet care sheets, it depends on what type of agama you want a care sheet on.
