Jager update 
so i got to come home this weekend.... and found him, chillin on his rock...
.. i took em out to play for a little....
he got away from me and then found a friend in the mirror lol
so we had a good day... then all hell breaks loose... well, actually just the glass. Unfortunately the 20 inch tank had one 1/2 inch crack near the corner and while I was cleaning it, that 1/2 inch crack spidered across the back glass... so guess what... Jager got a new home...

well there ya go... the three lights on top from left to right is a 75w infared,25w UVB, and 60w daylight blue the UVB and daylight blue are hooked up to a 14hr ON / 10hr OFF timer... and u best recognize the Jagermeister bottles near the tank lol ohh n the tanks alot bigger, 30 inch wide

hey there is that a star agama,,,,,,,,, kinda looks like mine they said it was a star agama, if so how long did it take it to tame down , mine justs hides , would love to be able to take her out

WOW! Looks AWESOME!!! Glad to hear it’s all going well! If it is possible, try finding a SMALL live pinkie. Maybe a day old or so to feed to Jager once every week to every other week so she can gain some more weight :)

yeah Kevin, they do look similar .. i’m pretty sure mine is a red-head agama tho, after alot of research and comparing online images i don’t think it could be anything else... however Jager is still very skittish when being picked up, he’ll usually run away or the other way and pretty much I have to wait til he runs into my hand, but once he’s in my hand he’s very very calm, i can place em on my body and he’ll just chill for a while sometimes he’ll go kamikazee on me and jump off but then I just let him be, the more and more i take em out the less skittish he has been, I never let him explore my room before cuz i was scared what he would do but recently I’ve been letting him run free when i’m home (with a towel under the door just incase) ... i’ve only had em for a few months and in that time i’ve watched a remarkable change, however, HE’S BEEN CLOSING HIS EYES ALOT, is that good or bad? he looks like he’s peaceful n soaking in the sun but sometimes i can’t help to think maybe he’s in pain or just scared,.. his nose got alot better then before and he doesnt go crazy anymore for no reason (meaning ill see him run crazily around the tank or jumping up at the glass for no apparent reason at all) i havent seen him do that at all recently, he’s been very slowish n chillin, and i think thats a good sign he’s happy and relaxed .... ANYWAYZZZZZZZ ....as for the Pinkie, what exactly is that? I’ve seen on the care sheet, it made some refrences to a pinkie , but i didnt know exactly what kind of worm that is... i have seen silkworms at the store but never picked one up, maybe i will next time, if thats what your talkin about,.... but im glad u mentioned that cuz i didnt know what to give her so she could gain some weight, unfortunately i have to go out of town again :( ... so i’ll give ya an update on friday again... and don’t worry my roommate takes care of him when i’m away, feeding him is like the highlight of his day lol

closed eyes cam me ALOT of things, relaxation, stress, comfort, sleepiness, illness, etc etc etc....
As for pinkies, they are baby mice

OHHHHH i didnt know that... now i do,, are u sure he can eat something that big? i really dont know how big a baby mouse is, will it be alive when I feed it to him? ... and yeah i know closed eyes could mean alot of things... so i’ll keep a close eye on him .. thanx for ur help again hun, ill keep ya updated

a day old pinkie mouse is small, he should be able to swallow it down. And ya, best to be alive because it’s movement that stimulates the feeding response. I’m glad to help any time :)

i dont no about the pinkies my full grown bearded just manages them but the sizes may be different you should pretty much be able to tell if he can eat it or not by looking at it but it doesnt have to be alive just get a pair of tweezers and move it around infront of him and he should take it works ok on my beardies

I think a newborn should be fine, then again im not positive on how big the agama is. if you are willing to, you can buy a frozen pinkie, cut it up while frozen and let it thaw. (NO MICROWAVE) If you manage to get the pieces to "move" and your agama to eat them, then go for it.
