i caught this guy the other day but released him he was in this suit case in my garage i opened it and it was in there released it into my front yard and havent seen him anymore.............

i found a salamander once in my pond, thought it would be cool to keep it in a bucket filled with water/rocks. The next morning he was gone. but not all of him. there was a leg and a tail left. seems the racoons that night were hungrey. i missed him so much :( havent cought one since.

That looks exactly like the one that came crawling into my house yesterday. I didn’t release it, my husband and I decided to keep it, we think ours is a potentially gravid female.
