 Need info on males and females!!!Urgent

Ok. I have two Alligator lizards and have different eating habits and I’m thinking its because of the sex they are. One of the two named Tyrone is the mysterious one. I never see him eat any more because he’s/she’s usually in his log all day. He doesn’t look underweight but he’s not getting any longer or bigger so I’m worrying about him a little bit. My other Alligator Lizard that I’m not so worried about is Mittledorf. He/she allways eats all the crix right when I put them in the cage.

The only thing I want to Know if there’s a difference between female and male eating habits.

Tyrone is about 1-2 months older and he’s/she’s about 5-6 inches.
Mittledorf is about 4-5 but his tail was regenerating when I found him.

No, there are no differences in eating habits for males and females, unless the female is gravid. However at the size you said, she wouldn’t be large enough to breed.

How tame are your lizards? Have you tried picking them up and examining the cloaca? Males will generally poo and push out their hemipenis when scared or angry.

Another way of sexing is by looking at the head. Males tend to have fat/broad arrow shaped heads while females are more slim.

I found out why he wasn’t eating.He’s not trying to get the food in his mouth hard enough as he used to.(striking at his food)I have to get the smallest mealworms out for him to eat.
