 Need help and enlightenment

Hey... I just caught a northern alligator lizard two days ago... I have a western side spotted lizard that is 5 inches in total legnth and a blue belly lizard that’s just slightly bigger... I have a huge tank with lots of room and I housed the three together... None of them have faught or hurt each other do you think it’s a bad idea to keep them together? Also, My alligator just seems to want to hide all the time... I pick it up and try to hold it a few times a day maybe three or four times daily, but I read not to pick up their hiding spots, how do I get it to come out? It hasn’t bit me yet, but it has tried to crap on me... I know my side spotted lizard is a girl and my blue is a male... the Aligator lizard has no obvious buldges is it female as well? it’s body is between 5 and 6 inches in lenght, how many crickets should I feed it and what size do you think is suitable? the head is about an inch... Also my side spotted is a desert lizard, but I read northern alligator lizards like moisture... I have soil in my tank should I try to grow some kind of ground cover or moss... what kinds of things should I set up... I have a large log, rocks, sand, soil, hiding places, a heat rock, an infared light, and a small water bowl... please enlighten me... =)

Separate them all into their own tanks.

Toss out the heat rock and infrared light. Purchase a normal basking bulb(roughly 50-60 watts) and a T12 UVB bulb.

Northerns do like moisture, as most live in moist grasslands or forests. Its best to use soil/coconut fiber for them and provide a dish which they can crawl into to when they feel they need to.

Don’t handle your allie so much. Northerns are definitely more aggressive and easier to stress than Southerns. They aren’t lizards you should be holding very often or at all, unless absolutely needed. They don’t like people or being out in the open, which is why they hide so much. Releasing fecal matter is a defense and a sign of stress.

Do not release the animal. It is illegal to do so. You will need to hand it over to Fish and Game in order for it to be released, and even they may deem it non releasable.
