 Super streach?

when my lizard was laying on her heat rock, she lifted up her left front leg realy high. so high, that it looked like she was scraching her back, or streaching.......or something. is that normal?

Doesn’t sound like anything bad to me. My alligator stretches out after basking, however not to the extent of yours.

Just keep an eye on her and make sure it is stretching and not twitching or muscle contractions. Twitching and contractions are a sign of dehydration.

your lucky..i wanna see my lizard do that but i dont think northern alligator lizards bask..instead they burrow alot and hibernate since their original habitat is freezing cold..:)
