Update on Fatty! 
doing a update on fatty my male alligator lizard i caught as a newborn late last summer so he is almost a year old and right now is at twelve an half inches long and i am hoping he will grow alot more!, he got his name from eating a rediculous amount of crickets for the first six months i had him, when he was really small he would eat at least ten small crickets in the morning and another ten or more at night!
this ruler is ten inches long
this is fatty checking himself out in the mirror making sure his scales look good haha
here he is in full stretch, i also like his colors and how he can get really dark almost black sometimes!
this last one is fatty and his sister who i would be willing to find a good home for she is actually quite a cool allie and extremely long tail and in excellent health

i would asume! lol cause that red one is gorgous! you got lucky with that one! mine is doing great though. hes really starting to loose his baby colors, and hes grown like a quarter of an inch since i have got him.

whats funny is that he does not look like a baby. he looks older now. hes not even really cute anymore. hes getting that handsome look. lol but he is growing very nicely. his tail is getting fatter and longer, and his face is starting to mature more. also his colors are comeing up along his back little by little.

ya its pretty cool! the color patterns on the back will show slowly but with fatty i remember he got his colour early and were light brown like yours and the when he was at least six months or older his colors changed all his patterns became much more darker and dramatic, but with his sister the female she did get some patterns too but she is alot lighter in color, even though the fastest part of his growth is done in two more year he should really thicken out and i know its along shot but im hoping for 20 inches but im sure he will at least hit 15

well when i first got into reptiles and was making alot of common mistakes my first was not researching enough so i bought a anole, but since the cage is so big and it can stick to glass it has worked out and they even sit next to eachother! and act like the other doesnt exist lol, iam def not promoting mixed species ill admit i made a mistake

I see you have a female you would be willing to part with. I look after a little boy named Sam. He is almost 5 years old. I found him an alligator lizard a few weeks ago, and his dad went out and got him set up with a nice terrarium. We believe it is a female. She is so cool, and we are really enjoying having her around. If you still have the female, and are willing to part with her, please let me know......I would really appreciate it.........reggae

Hey!, yes, I live in downtown Long Beach, and they live in the Belmont Shore area. Are you familiar with the area? I just recently got a car, but I’m not too familiar with California yet, as I moved here from Toronto a couple of years ago, so I’m not to sure where Costa Mesa is. Thanks again for responding  ...ps, the lizard I caught is about 10 inches, including tail.....so hopefully she will get along with another one?

i have two females i would be willing to part with one is a year old (fattys sister) and is 12 and a half inches she has a really long tail her body is average not real big i belive she still has some growing left in her, and actually the other female believe it or not is samus she just produced six offspring this may, they are both in perfect condition except samus has lost part of her tail (before i got her) it was cool to watch her and care for her but if someone else is willing to care for her the right way id would be willing to part with her and let some one else get the same amazing experience as me
costa mesa is right surrounded by newport beach and huntington beach santa anna and irvine, i live right next to the south coast plaza mall im not sure if i could make the drive to long beach but i d could at least meet half way

Hey Hunter Breed.....sorry this is taking me so long, but I probably won’t be able to get Fatty’s sister until the weekend, but am still very interested, and Sam is getting very excited to have her. Oh, by the way, Sam’s lizard, (named Allie), just shed her skin today. Wow, it happened all within about 10-15 minutes time! We thought that was really cool. thats cool, with my red allie the last few weeks she got really dark and lost pretty much all of her red colour! i was pretty bummed i thought about the shed but she has been that way for a while now but just yesterday she shed and has her amazing bright deep red colour is back so now i can relax lol

This one shed so fast.....it was really cool...she walked all along the terrarium rubbing her body against her bark, and log etc....I guess that helps them pull it off!...now her stripes seem a lot more vivid!....

Hunter Breed....that is one impressive Lizard! I found a good deal on a 60 gallon tank for Sam, and I stopped by Sam’s house to see her on my way home from my errands. Wow! I can’t thank you enough! She is really beautiful. Sam named her Sally. His other alligator lizard’s name is Allie, and she is quite small compared to this one. She actually seemed kind of frightened of the new "Sally", so they have kept Allie in her present tank, and put Sally in the 60 gallon. Sam is ecstatic over her.
Will keep you updated on her progress. Again, thank you so much.....that was very generous of you
