 Aligator eggs

So one of my allies laid 10 eggs about two months ago. Right away i read up and i am sure ive done everything right so far. They have been nice and full(no dents or caves) and nice in vermiculite. But only a few days ago they have started to collapse and become a little graying color. Im am worried. does anyone know whats happening if they are dead or what? :(

try adding a little water surrounding the eggs, ive read other accounts of people having their eggs start to shrivel but being able to recover them and have them hatch, dont give up yet! my eggs turned brown! and i almost was going to throw them out and then i got 5 healthy allies from them!!! how long has it been since the eggs were laid aprox?
