 Co-habitating?

I noticed you said you had 4 Allies in a 60 gal tank. Are all Allies compatible? I would love to get a companion for mine. Also.. have you heard of Allies hibernating?
I absolutely LOVE this site! BTW
Thank you!

def not all allies will get along with one another, you have to monitor them to see if they are ok together, i have two males and two females, its generally not a good idea to put to males together but when i did it one was alot small than the other so i guess they didnt see each other as a challenge, and now they have been together for almost a year and there has never been an issue, but also the older bigger male i have is super mellow and doesnt care even if my other allies walk all over him, im guessing he is at least 5 years old maybe older

if you put two allies together watch them when they are around each other if they are relaxed and dont mind eachother thats good, just watch for hissing, or even watch to see if the get defensive and look like they might get ready to bite like when they eat
i would say if you have enough room go for it and if its just two female allies then im sure you will be fine but if you have two males just be carfefull, i might seperate my males when it comes to breeding time this spring for a month or two

and in the wild allies def hibernate which is why you usually only see allies early spring through late fall depending on youre area, but in captivity my allies slow down a little but they dont completely hibernate since always keep on the heat lamp when its really cold
