is it true that duck tape can hold an alligator/crocodile’s mouth shut. also is it true that they have 66000pounds of pressure. i heard they had 3600 in back 1800 in front.answer these!

As far as the pressure of the bite you are closer to it than the 66000. I would like to know were that number came from. But as far as the duck tape don’t use it. Duck tape is somewhat water proof and will stick to the skin I found it is better to use black electrical tape. When you think you have enough on go around 2 more times.

I have an 8-9 foot male Alligator and it holds his mouth shut. You have to understand that ALL of their jaw power is in closeing not opening. If an adult would lay still you could hold it’s mouth shut with two fingers.

yes it will. The muscles they have in the jaw is only used for slamming shut. They do not have enough muscle to open the mouth when it is taped shut
