Really? I took this picture at the Wildlife World Zoo in Arizona. The enclosure is a lot bigger than the picture shows. I would hope that the zoo knows what they are doing but if not I’m sad. These guys are set up in the gift shop. Not for sale of course. What species are they? Curious. I would never want to own any croc or alligator but I am very interested in them. I don’t know much about them but BOY are they beautiful animals!

Here are some more pics of my kids with them. You can go underneath and look at them like you are inside the habitat. My kids loved them. Maybe they take them out at the end of each day. I will ask next time I’m there.

They are American Alligators. From what I saw in the fist pic it looked like it was just a 10 gallon aquarium, but now I see in the second pic how it wraps around. I’m not saying anything about this specific zoological facility, but sadly most zoos’ reptiles are not in good conditions. The general public seems to think that zoos know how to take care of any animal and that they know everything about animals because they are a zoo, but unfortunately not always. There are a few reputable zoos that do take very good care of their animals.
