Important, interesting, please give feed back 
I was watching a youtube video at the St Augustine Alligator farm and the guy that worked thier said that mother nature doesn’t some close to what Mazuri Croc diet provides them and he said they only give them meat to exersize thier jaw muscles, does anyone here agree or dissagree with this claim made by the St Augustine alligator farm? Ive been thier several times and they are the best or at least they have more species to see than any other crocodilian park, I love going there, the only bad thing that I noticed is that thier are some pools crowded with so many gators you could walk across the pond on the gators backs without touching the water it seemed, but anyways, I thought that was interesting, if its true then cool, its cheaper to feed mainly pellets than assorted meats, not that I would take mine off meat but its good to know that the pellets do alot for thier nutritional needs if what they say is true........Please post your thoughts.

My personal thoughts are simple, I dont believe any aniaml should be taken off its natural...My Bird I do give pellets once a day (roudybush) but he gets fresh fruit vegetables eggs and meat. Its great that pellets like mazurri and roudy hav that much value that they can be the sole food...however the crocs eat because its there not because it tastes good..
I feel keeping them solely on something that is not in the wild is cruel to an animal...I know I wouldn’t want to eat solely pellets with occasional meat, would you? thats like eating a grilled chicken salad it has all your nutrition yes, but you would get bored...
Dont get me wrong as a small snack i think its great with th nutritional value, but even my Too he eats the pellets in the evening because they are ther, but appantly they are bland..however fruits and veggies he goes for..
My guys were fine with their meat...its a natural, but I only have three... nothing a goat or three cant solve, with a large place like that Im sure they try to tone down costs with whats cheaper to keep them filled with and then "Lets toss some meat in"

I disagree with this, Mother Nature provides variety that the Mazuri doesn’t...a choice.. if thats all a croc is ever given then they eat...animals eat to survive nd through time Im sure they realized Meat is a rare option and eat the pellets..they will take what given...honestly i dont think the pellets could do what a nice chunk of meat could...too much of one thing is bad for you..you cant live just on salads you cant live on just meat, a horse cant live on just grain, and crocs cant live on just pellets... just mho

I agree, even if the pellets alone could do it all it would be boring and I do believe they need more than pellets, mine likes pellets so much that it can be hard to get him to eat anything else, if thier were live prey and pellets he would choose the pellets so I dont put pellets in the water until after he eats the live prey cuz other wise it would be like letting a kid see the toy in the happy meal, If scientist came out with a pill that could feed humans and do it all I would rather eat real food, but yeah I also find it hard to believe that pellets can do it all but the fact that the claim was made be a world renowned gator farm I thought it was worthy to post and see what others think.......Thanks for your thoughts

I am always up for discussion on new and interesting things, like what you pinpointed..I dont think they get Just pellets though....but its possible. I agree with what you said, but to make such a claim Im wondering if Mazuri didnt pay them or bribe them heh...like putting a coke can in a movie, coke pays big bucks for it..could see it now "Free Mazuri if...."Bah who knows....
