Aussie Crocodiles
| Hi Guys I live in Australia and as you probably know we have the most fierce and aggresive crocodilians in the world. A 16 and a half foot croc makes your american aligators look like childrens pets. an american aligator is much more placid and 100 times easier to handle. Dave. |

Just joking about the bears. All I know about the American crocs is they grow about the same size as alligators, they are endangered, and they are only in south florida. We also have specaled caimen(Iam not a good speller)but the caimen is introduced from south america. P.S. No hard feelings about what I said earlier. |

| American Crocodiles are actually very large very shy nocturnal animals, they lack agression and tend to be as docile as an alligator they do however on average grow to around 15 feet they are found in warm brackish (salt mixed with fresh) waters ie mangrove swamps and estuaries the 4th tooth on each side is exposed, long snouts similar to the Ghariel...they are found in lower portions of North America, portions of Central and South America typically are rarely unseen by the Humans theres estimated to be between 500 to 1000 currently... but the numbers are fully unknown though the young are usually eaten soooooo its varying at this point...they are found more towards Okachobee and the likes the very tip of Fl *shrugs* Large but shy calm beasties |
