FBT...not sure
I recently bought two FBt form my local wal-mart.(they only had two left) I’ve never owned any type of toad are frog before, but they had them in a 4in dimanter cup (kinda like what they sell beta fish in) the cup had 3-4 inches of water and a weg of sterfoam in it. They are thin compered to the pics i’ve been looking up on line. I’ve set up a 10 gallon tank this about a 50/50 ratio of water and land and i’ve fed them crickets and also meal worms they are eating fine but aren’t very active i have places for them to hide but haven’t gotten any plants yet. I’m going to be honest and say i don’t know what i’m doing is right all the information i have is form talking to people at my local petco and reading articles online. The coloration on them has brightend up since i’ve put them in the tank, I’ve had them for about a week. So i guess i’m asking what is the normal behavior and what can i do? I kinda know the basics but i wanna give the little guys a good home. More than the basic setup i have now. And help would be GREATLY and Graciously appricated!

I also found those same frogs in Wal-Mart too. But when I went back they were gone, they didn’t want to have a law suit because of their toxicans. I got mine at PetSmart. I have three Budha, Diablo and Deliliah. I am no expert but I have read everything I can. I have mine in a 55 gallon tank. They are expensive, but mine seem to like it. I think a 20-25 gallon would be sufficent. I went to my local pet store and bought a book on them, also check your library and see what books they may have. I feed mine crickets, but the small ones. The bigger ones I have learned can bite their wind pipe. Some suggest feeding them worms like the meal or blood worm. I have tried the mealworm and mine seem not to like it. They like rocks and things they can climb on. I went to one local store where they suggested CoCo Soft. Itried and it and mine didn’t like it. Plants are wonderful too. I have put bamboo in mine but I am looking for aquatic plants for them too. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A SCREEN FOR THEM!!!!!!! My 4th baby Zaugg, got out the other night and died. I didn’t have the tank all the way covered. They aren’t tree frogs but some can climb very well. I hope I have helped some if you didn’t already have info, this is a little bit of what I have learned.

This is my baby Budha, watching tv in her log.
