Ordered a plant got a frog...

Hey ya’ll!

I am totally new to this and need some help.
I work at a florist here in Canada, and we buy imported plants that I think come from Florida.
Last week, unwrapping an Aechmea, I found a little frog snuggled up in between two leaves. Can you please help me identifying him and telling me how to care for him? He doesnt seem very active at all, at least in the light (I have a 40w light in there to keep him warm as its getting colder here).
The pet store woman said I could feed him 2-3 crickets a week... is that ok?
Of course I would have let it out in the wild, but its getting real cold out here and the frog is not from around here! Do you guys know what kind this is, how big they usually get, if its male or female? Can I had small turtles or frog with it? Its in a 20 gallon aquarium right now. Thank you so much.

Dont let it go and dont house it with others he will die if you do chances are he needs high temps and humidity get his cage up into the 80’s so he doesnt freeze and it can probably eat 5 crikets evey 3 days not a week but def look it up on google and rais the temp asap esp if hes from florida.

thats a young cuban tree frog, they get from 4 inches long( female) or 2 or 3 inches long( male) you should feed your new baby as many crickets as he will eat EVERy night, not every week or every 3 days, he is still a baby. as an adult, you can feed every other night, but still, figure out how many he eats, then give him that, plus 1 incase hes extra hungry,, at that size, he should be eating 5-10 sm crickets or 3 -6 meduim crickets, he looks too small for large crickets yet. he needs a 20 gallon tank, use eco earth or orchid bark as the substrate, a large clean bowl of de-chlorinate dwater( either bottled or use some fish water conditioner) lots to climb and hide with, and an average cage temp of about 80 degrees, with a "hot" side of about 90-95. just get a clamp light, and a normal light bulb, probalby about a 60 watt, and put it on one side of the tank. he is a nocturnal frog, so you dont need uvb for him. make sure you wash your hands before and afte rhandling him, they hav ea mild skin toxin. also, you shouldnt release him, he wouldnt survive the winter. i currently have about 30 baby cubans myself, they are incredibly hardy and eat anythign that moves..lol hislor wll range from green to brown to tan to almost white.. very pretty.

and no, you shouldnt house anything else with it, it will poison the turtle water, and if the turtle nipped him the turtle could die.. if you wanted to house another frog with him, you’d have to be extra careful about changing the water 2x a day, and spot cleaning poop every morning.
