 What frogs would be easiest to handle as pets?

What frog would be the calmest to have as a pet? What I mean by this is, so that when you handle them you don’t have to worry about trying to keep them in your hand and so forth? I hope that makes sense.

Any suggestions on this would be highly appreciated. :)

definatley tree frog!!!! they are very calm! most of the time they hide or just happily hop around hope this helps!!!!!

Oh, okay! Thanks. :)

I was just curious because I actually have a fire-bellied toad and they are a pain to hold. They want to hope all over the place. lol

So I figured there has to be a frog/toad out there that is calm and doesn’t flip out when being held for a minute or so. lol

Sorry to break it to you, but holding your frogs is really bad for your frog. The oils and sweat we produce from our skin is enough to make a frog sick. Frogs have delicate skin that is permeable, they drink through their skin actually, that’s why you’ll see tree frogs with their butts in their water dishes. There are frogs that are quite calm, but no frog taht should be handled a lot. Doing so will decrease the lifespan of your pet.
