Wow! Thats certainly a big girl! (I’ll assume female on a size basis).

The size of the head at the back is also due in part to the amount of skin being squeezed forward as he tries to keep the head in place.

i love all snakes but the anaconda just catchs my eye i know all about them there around 35 feet long a hundred teeth as sharp as fish hooks kills its prey by squeezing it the pressure is around 9000 pounds per square inch as much as a school bus likes swamp land feeds on alligatos antelope and other animals they are one big string of baraded muscle they are the longest ans strongest snake in the world

yeah one thing there, they are not around 35 foot long, you would be very lucky, id say a female avaerage around 22ft? correct me f im wrong. porbs am, but i know for a fact not 35

I dont really think a 30 foot snake (or over) of any kind was ever presented to the world under any circumstance. Seems like all the reports of such animals were left for the eyes of the claimers ONLY. Even the 33 foot retic from Celebes was only and never more than just a report. Period. Those people never brought the snake along to show to anybody and had no way to document that lenght beyond doubt.
The longest snake that was there for anybody to see, was a retic named Colossus at 28’6’’ . She was in Pittsburg zoo.

Nothing has ever been even reported legitimatly over 33 feet 1 inch (I believe it was 33’ 1", mightve been 33" 4’ or something)

If you can find something about the 36 foot anaconda I’d love to see it, though I’ll bet 40/1 odds its bogus.

Its 90 lb/square inch, which is still huge (I saw it on tv using a 20ft anaconda)
9000 lb is about 4 tonnes, if you had 4 tonne of weight on every square inch, you would be flattened into a little stick

Y’all are crazy! Show me actually documentation of a anaconda EVER being recorded longer than a Retic!!! (not just hear say) Longest Recorded snake in the world is a 33 1/2 foot retic. There has never been a documented case of an anaconda being longer than that. Wider and heaver, yes, the anaconda has the retic beat. Do the research and talk to the zoos in your area, Ill be backed by any true herp>:) Just giving accurate info:)

There are SO 35’ anancondas! And they eat alligatos and antelopes! That’s why the alligators all got scared and moved to the United States and China, and the antelopes all got scared and moved to Africa.
I think the one in the picture is a 35 footer. She certainly looks like she could eat at leat 35 feet; she was about to eat a few right there before they caught her!

Python holds the world record for biggest snake at 33 feet although Anaconda’s are typically bigger in girth. You can read the story here. http://www.extremescience.com/BiggestSnake.htm. Hope this helps.

Its 90 lb/sq inch. 4 tons (which I didn’t check math on) is total tonage the body experiences and is over the WHOLE torso. Not per inch

Ok everyone stop talking smak!!! Most of you are just saying thing you heard!
If im not mistaken the biggest retic recorded was a 33ft something inch. The biggest snake ever recorded was a 37ft anaconda! But do you actually belive what you hear??? If any of you are right can you guys show me some pics of that 33ft retic?? and that 37ft conda?? No you cant because that was just what people belive they recorded! The biggest snake I think is fluffy from Bob Clark! I have seen some other larger retics but im not sure if they are dead or alive at the moment. So heres a review retics grow longer but start to gain girth around 10ft+. Anacondas grow very slow but gain alot of girth!
SOoooo the movie anaconda search for the blood orchid was the blood orchid made the anacondas stay alive forever .But snakes never stop growing but when older very very very slow growth. So alive forever+growth=1 massive snake !!!

Oh and green anacondas dont grow 35ft ok!! They grow around 13-18ft and it takes them a long time to get that big and maybe if it lives a long life it prolly has chances to be 20ft but thats not very common
so learn your stuff!
