 Hybrid?

I have a book called Boas and Pythons of the World, and in it it talks of a naturally occurring yellow/green hybrid that has been named after the scientist that "discovered" it. Do you guys know anything about hybrid condas? in captivity?

Kingsnake.com has from time to time a GreenXYellow or a YellowXGreen conda for sale.

Last month there have been a torrent of them on the Kingsnake Classifieds

im jw... ive all of a sudden fallen in love with yellows. Maybe if I get enough money I’ll look into one. It just interested me, thats all. The book was by Mark O’Shea, I’m sure most of you have heard of him.

saw one for sale for $200 at my local snake shop today. I told my mom "see, thats a yellow. What I want to get. Wait no, thats not a yellow..... its dorsal markings look like those of a green...." then I read the label that is on the cage it says green/yellow cross. then Im like "ohhhhhhh.... cool." I think that the female was probably the yellow, as it had more yellow traits than green. Which is odd, cuz the females supposed to be larger... lol. Anyway, just thought id share.

Froggy, the snake you are talking about is not a naturally occuring hybrid. It was once suspected to be a hybrid native only to Marajo Island. But this snake, Eunectes deschauenseii, is a different species of anaconda whose range does extend off the island.

That is a good looiking hybrid you got there. And hughes the best thing I can tell you is if you want any type of rare conda your going to have to wait a few years. They are rare but there are a few people out there working with them so hopefully cb babys will be avaiable soon. Hybrids are on kingsnake under other boas all the time though
