 I just got two yellow anacondas
so i just got two yellow anacondas and the female is like 13 ft and as big around as my head maybe even bigger then that the male on the other hand is pretty small prolly 4 or 5 ft and about the girth of a childs arm pretty small so the male has a pretty decent temperment the female on the other hand is a little different and even the guy said she is kinda iffy and he deffinatly wouldnt take her out around the kids and that she could easily take out a full grown man and im a pretty little guy so yeahLOL anywho i was just wondering with a snake that size wat i can do to improve her temperment prefferably without getting bite seeing as she would prolly wrapp up if she bit not that im scared to get bit i do have other snakes a 9ft red tail and a 4 ft redtail but they have very very good temperments i can pet the top of their heads and they dont even flinch so but with the anaconda it could very very easily kill me which i dont really want so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

i traded a female red tail to this guy for these two yellow’s there pretty cool except the big one she moves really quick and is very jumpy it kinda makes me nervious seein as she can easily kill me im thinking about tryin to find someone with a burmese that would want to trade my wife really really wants a burmese and they are really really chill

9 foot RTB and 13 foot yellow conda! What are you feeding them, HGH?

I would not worry about the snake KILLING you man. If you are smart then there is no way a situation like that could happen. First off I wount NOT handle her unless atleast one other person is around (just in case). this person should be knowledgable of what to do in any circumstance of being bit or wrapped up. I would begin to hook train her, and that will help getting her in and out of her enclosure. Then I reccomend you just handle her often. My yellow was a little jumpy at first as well, but through lots of handling he has calmed down and has not struck or even hissed at me. I also have a female burm. I hope this helps.

well ive started handling her more but without a hook and she has not shown any sign of aggression no hissing or attempted striking she is just soo big its a little bit intimedating LOL i mean her body is about as big round as my head my boas are very very calm i can touch the tops of their heads and they dont mind or even move at all.... this may make me sound a little inexperienced but when my big conda gets her head near me it makes me just a little nervous someone told me that anacondas are the second most calm non aggressive snakes and that burms are the first how much truth is in that i held a 17ft burm the other day and he was soo calm it suprised me now i cant wait to get a burmLOL my wife wants me to find someone that would want to trade the big conda for a burmese if anyone on here knows anyone that would be interested in that that would be cool

oh yeah i forgot to mention i am feeding the rtb’s rats and im trying to find either some chickens or some rabbits to feed the conda well the female anyways the male is relatively small and will eat med rats and i feed all live i like to watch also my kids love to watch feeding time they think its the greatest thing ever.........

no im not selling my conda...i do have an albino burmese and I know of another one that a home is trying to be found for. It doesnt make you seem in experienced to be nervous, they are large magnificent creatures that can sometimes be indimidating. If you are interested in a possible trade sale let me know, i might be able to help you. What state are you in?

im in oregon yeah i really want a burmese im looking to trade my large female like i said she has not shown any sign of aggression she is just really big. i want to keep the male seeing as he is still medium sized and i want to raise him up being used to being handled. i like burms because they are sooo chilled but are still big..... so yeah i am very interested in a trade conda for burm if you wanna call 541 306 4947 im chris

My friend has a 7 1/2 ft albino Burmese that is completely tame its just he is a wuss and is intimidated by a 5 foot snake and he wants to get rid of it for free! but no one will take it because they dont beleive he is gettin rid of it because its too big they think its mean or something but it truely isnt I hold it and it is really tame and intelligent too! his cats and dogs walk right by it on feeding day while its outside of the cage and it doesnt aknowledge anything but the chicken he feeds it. If your still interested I could tell him to give you a call.

ZCS, male or female? No history of mites/infections/etc? Sounds like that burm might be able to find a home if the temperment really is as you say.
