 How much water time?

Hi, i just got my young green male. how much water time should i let him have. also his humidity level is 50-60% all time, should that effect time spent in water. if i let him that’s what he would do all day and night. don’t worry that’s not the case. how much time should he spend in there. and his water is changed every day.

If the humidity is at 50-60% all the time he would do fine with just a drinking bowl and not a soak tub. Since the humidity is so high any time in the tub soaking is fine, but not a necessity to you condas health and well being.

I would suggest either lowing humidity and letting him soak to his hearts content, or providing a smaller water dish.

I’ve always used water bowl with high humidity, but I would say 40% should be fine.

I’ll do a bit of reasearch and let you know if I come up with anything different, and if you find a source you trust that says higher/lower I’d go with that. 40% is more of a rough ballpark number.
