The only really spot on answer is that snakes are as individual as the owners. My female yellow, who was sweet as a button from day 1, had no problem with tubs/containers. You’ll find much of it has to do with not the container itself but the *manner of handling to/from the container* If you simply expect to drop them in and close the lid you could be in for an unpleasent surprise. My advice, let the snake snoop its way into the tub, and once inside *lightly* lay a towel over it and THEN put the lid on. By allowing the snake to observe the tub while being held it will feel less forced into confinment as well as giving it a second or two in order to adjust and realize it is being moved. The towel acts as a calmer, as any head cover is intended, and with their head covered you will have the time to close the top. On taking out, my advice is to open the top, step back and let them crawl out on their own. Best of luck! ~GNP |
