i was just curious has anyone ever seen a albino anaconda, are they even posible.

yes, i never seen one in real life but I’ve found them on-line a few times. but yes it is very much possible and they do exists

There are 2 in the US that I am aware of. One of them just sold on kingsnake a few months back for $30k!

Ben Renick just picked one up, you can see pics of it on bob clarks forum. Its pretty awesome looking it real dark yellow and lavender.

Last time I heard from Ben it was "I wish I could get my hands on that snake!"

If he did manage to get it I would be A) Shocked. B) Extremely happy for him.

He is in the midst of building a new facility though and I’m not sure it would be financially sound to drop $30k at a time like this. Of course, I don’t know the inner workings of Mr. Renick’s finances but from an outside perspective I’m not sure, especially when he has some fabulous lockups in the works currently!

Wow! Shows me what I get for not visiting those forums often enough! *doh!*

I’m very psyched for him with this new addition! I know we can’t expect much to be bred out within the next few years, or at least nothing that would be open to the public for sale at least.

The pictures aren’t up on his website yet but I can’t wait to see them. Apparently it looks different than Stans (the one from Kingsnake) but that could mean anything!

4?! Man, I’m out of the loop.

Last I heard Stan had 1, there was 1 I knew was out there but didn’t have tag on who owned it, and now Ben has the third I know of.

There was one I heard of that was found a while back but died in transit to the US. This might be the fourth you mentioned, but if not please direct me to where that last one is!

Ben has one stan sold his male he originally had 2 but the female died a while back. There was rumors about a -t albino out there some where but it has not been confirmed. And the other two should be adults by now. Im not going to say much becuase I dont beleive the owner wants alot of people knowing until they breed. So right now in the u.s.a there are possibly 5 albino anacondas but 4 are confirmed. I would sell my soul for one lol

You DONT know the THINGS I WOULD DO to get one!
I hope to start working with yellow anacondas in the near future then work my way up to greens... Then after I start breeding greens I eventually will move up to morphs and what not and hopefully ONE DAY I will own or produce a ALBINO GREEN ANACONDA! I wouldent mind hets !

hets should be on there way soon. Although the people that have a shot at breeding these will probably hold onto to most of the hets they have and breed them when they are older to get more albinos but im sure they will let a few go for a price that is much bigger than my wallet I bet lol

Yea ive seen albino tigers for 500$ and the lowest ive seen an albino is 450$ I think...
But the lowest ive seen purple albinos was 750$ Before I could get a purple albino in my reptile store for 500$ but I dident buy it cuz I was just begging.... Anyway you can get cheap prices if you know the right people lol

yea Ive seen just plain albinos from anywhere from 500 to 750 but these two were bright yellow with lavender patterns they were so awesome looking.

Well on Kingsnake theirs plenty of hot deals soo keep your eyes on that also prehistoricpets has some good deals where you can get a pair od something for a good price and other stuff for a little higer priceing lol
