PA as a state doesn’t regulate anything that’s not native to PA. Each municipality has their own laws though.

YEA i just recently found out that md doesnt allow anykind of venomous species at all so, so much for me getting venomous snakes. but on the plus size all burms, retics, and anacondas are legal thought.

12+ ft Burm/Retic/Conda > any venomous, strictly IMO of course!

It might just be me, but I’d feel way safer w/ a 10+ Foot constrictor than a venomous of any length, but I’m assuredly bias lol!

Constrictors have always been where my heart lies as far as owning snakes. I am awestuck by the colors and body designs/shapes in venomous species but I just couldn’t bring myself to own one. But hey... to each their own!

Ya, the state of Pennsylvania allows you to have anything other than native PA species. However, some places in that town don’t allow it. Like in the news a few months ago where a lady in Reading had kept her then five foot alligator for years without any problems, but then Reading found out and made her get rid of it.

But of course, that just caused a bunch of other problems, because then everyone who had kept alligators in Reading for years then released them, so Reading developed a short problem with released alligators in the area. So really, if you would really fight it for your town, I’m sure you’d win on something anyways.
