 Hey Bubba13

To answer your question I know pythons and boas under the state of New York are required to be reported to the New York State Wildlife Clerk if they are over 10 feet and cannot be kept in a home with children under 4 feet. Thats for boas and pythons so it might be the same for Ana’s. If so then that makes them LEGAL.

 Hey Bubba13

You cannot own a 10 foot or longer snake in the same household as children under 4 feet tall for the safety of the children. Thats why the law is there.

Should the unthinkable happen, and the snake gets out, any child of that size would be in a truely life threatening situation, moreso than is already the case when handling snakes over 10 feet (Rule of thumb is always handle snakes over 10 feet with at least 1 other person).

Remeber, Thinks of the Children! lol
