whats up? im hoping to ge ta yellow conda in the soon future. ive done alot of reading and research before deciding this. first off i wanna double check and make sure me 5ft long 3ft wide 17inch tall cage will be fien for a male yellow. next i hear babies are nippy but often tame down and become quite tame and sweet? and last who, what, where would i go about obtaining one? like any breeders or anything. i only have 3 requirements 1: must be tame 2: eats f/t 3: is male
any help or advice please

I think you may be asking a little too much.......
I think you cage is good...
Well yes some babys are nippy some of thoes nippy babys become nice and handable, and other stay really mean and arent all that cool... It all depends on the snake...
Their plenty of yellow anaconda breeders out their... A lot of sellers on kingsnake obtain yellows through out the year and then theirs breeders who actually breed them.. Like Ben Renick and some other breeders... Im not sure about kelly haller but she may breed them im not sure I know she breeds greens but im not sure about yellows...
Again not all babys will be tame I guarantee you will get bit atleast once soo just suck it up and take the bite eventually they will turn nicer.... Some anacondas are problem feeders and will not eat for months and some like one prey over the other, and some will only eat live and other f/f so it depends on the animal itself... Theirs plenty of male yellows that will be avalible and are avalible...

getting bit isnt a problem but of course would preffer to avoid it. ok, what would be a fair price for a male yellow? honestly i would prefer a male over a female for smaller size but i could do with a female. jus tneeds to eat f/t and atleast not be agressive ( if its a older snake, babies are a diffrent story )

I believe i paid $150 for my male yellow. he’s a sweetheart. The first 2 days i had him he was striking at the glass, but i left him alone for a few days and he calmed right down. The only time i have been bitten was when i was tryin to get him to straighten out a little bit. He didn’t like it and nipped me, but i barely felt it. and he has no problem eating f/t. he seems to actually prefer it. He just played with live when i used them. Just be ready to clean up urine and or feces about every day or 2. Mine makes quite a mess.

That is Mordy. I got him from Chris at BA Reptiles in Defiance Ohio. is about 3.5 ft or so right now. I got him in late December when he was about 20 in. or so.

yea it’s just bareptiles.com, he also sells on reptster. he doesn’t have any in the store right now, but he goes to the show in columbus and cleveland when they have them. and can get about anything there. his website doesn’t have all his animal that are in the store. just a small selection. but yopu could ask him. his name is chris.

yea it does seem a bit much. the only thing i can think iof it would be $250 is because it’s 5 ft.
Mine was pretty much a baby when I got him. I would probably get the youngest one I could if you wanna make sure you get a good temperment. At 5ft who knows how he is.
