You usually wont see anacondas over 12 ft on here.
I know Ben Renick has some 8-12 footers, maybe if you email him he could share some pictures with you. Heres his website

 Who’s is the biggest

To get a 12’ conda, green or yellow, you usually need a female, and female greens are a lot for the avg snake enthusiest who doesn’t plan on breeding, or has a fairly large collection. They are big and they are very powerful. Not to mention many states just dont allow them!

Most people buy snakes not for size, but for aesthetics or breeding. Non-breeders are generally focused on 3 things.

1) Room/Care. Can you house and care for such a large/strong snake?
2) Handling/Temperment. You cant control temperment 100%, so if you had to take a chance, would you want it to be a female green or a smaller male?
3) Aesthetics/Breeding. If you want the snake simply for pattern beauty, size is less relivent as you wont need them to be a certain size for breeding or show, so smaller is just as good as larger, while also being cheaper (females will always cost more) and easier to house size-wise.

Just my 3 reasons most people won’t buy the larger snakes IF the snake can be found growing shorter. Just look at retics, where even the males break 14+ feet! The market for dwarf forms of this is constantly growing!

Hope this helped!

If you keep humidity around 50-60% anacondas do fine with out a huge tub of water ( it makes your life easyer and lowers your water bill ) But if you want to you can go ahead and give them a soaking tub. Most people do soak their anacondas once a week. ( via bathtub or sink or even a large tub )
As for feeding either way you will need rabbits if you get a yellow or green. A 8X4X4 cage would be more then enough space of a yellow and would do good for any green. I think it should be 8X4X3 though. As for heating a UTH would do fine or a ceramic heat emiter ( by measureing the temps useing a temp gun ) As for subsrate paper towls, newspaper, large rolls of construction paper, mulch, or aspen would do fine. But I would go with the construction paper because you wont be useing as much paper towls for that big cage.

I personally DO NOT like that reptile carpet or carpet for my herps I have it but I dont use it.
I saw your post on the retic forum and I say get an anaconda over a retic. I like both retics and anacondas equally but I think anacondas are a little more special. If you go for an anaconda witch one are you looking to buy a yellow or green?

If your going to buy a female yellow you can safely consider a male green they will only get 2-3 ft larger then a female yellow.
When you I consider you talk to these people cuz they have awsome animals.
Underground Reptiles ( Last time I went I saw they had a small yellow and 2 greens they should have more soon )
Ben Renick ( awsome guy awsome animals )
Kelly haller ( very nice green anacondas )
and im sure their are a couple more people I would suggest but they arent on my mind right now LOL

"If you keep humidity around 50-60% anacondas do fine with out a huge tub of water ( it makes your life easyer and lowers your water bill ) But if you want to you can go ahead and give them a soaking tub. Most people do soak their anacondas once a week. ( via bathtub or sink or even a large tub )"
> Ball Pythons require roughly 50% humidity and they are not nearly as waterprone as Anacondas, aka Water Boas. 60% would have to be the low end of the humidity range personally.

"As for feeding either way you will need rabbits if you get a yellow or green."
> Male Yellows can do well on large/jumbo rats

"A 8X4X4 cage would be more then enough space of a yellow and would do good for any green. I think it should be 8X4X3 though."
> No reason to cut off a foot of exploring space if there is room and the ability to take care of or provide it. Though 8X4X4 should NOT be the starting dimension of the cage or you will have a stressed out snake that could exhibit symptoms that range from temperment, to eating issues, to poor sheds.

"As for heating a UTH would do fine or a ceramic heat emiter ( by measureing the temps useing a temp gun ) As for subsrate paper towls, newspaper, large rolls of construction paper, mulch, or aspen would do fine. But I would go with the construction paper because you wont be useing as much paper towls for that big cage."
> Heat emiters will only work provided you DO decide to provide the soak tub. They work by increasing the temperature of the ambient air and thus lowering the humidity, which means the snake will need to soak itself. Construction paper is not a heavily absorbant material and with how much anacondas love to deficate you would probably want Newspaper or Paper Towels.

"personally DO NOT like that reptile carpet or carpet for my herps I have it but I dont use it."
> Been there, tried it, wont use it again. I know there are supporters for everything out there, but this is one I just dont see as a good buy or even a practical choice

"If your going to buy a female yellow you can safely consider a male green they will only get 2-3 ft larger then a female yellow."
> A male green and female yellow both grow within a typical size range of 8-11 feet, 12 if you powerfeed or get genetically lucky for size. Male greens from the ones I’ve seen and breeders I’ve talked to tend to be more in the 8-11 range while female yellows are around 9-11. The green males will win for bulk hands down though.

Good luck with your search! Remember, when it comes to picking the right animal, do not put a time restraint on a "must buy date" or you are going in with the notion of compromising your search!
