 Help please!

im having trouble keeping the humidity up in my tub and i have no idea why. its bewteen 45-49. i need to get it to around 55ish, can anyone help me?

1) What are you heating with? Bulb, UTH, ceramic, heat tape?

2) What type of substrate?

3) What type of top? Locking plastic lid w/ air holes, Screen Mesh, Rack style tubs?

4) What are you doing now to control humidity?

2.) paper towels
3.)locking plastic lid with air holes
4.)i mist it alot with a spray bottel and put moss in the hides

Hmm, I must admit thats the same setup I use when Im moving my snakes and I have trouble keeping the humidity under 55%...

One trick might be to put the water bowl slightly over the uth. You could also try using a tshirt or small wash towel as the substrate as these dont dry as easily over a UTH like paper towels.
