one, your snake should not be in the water all times. or water blisters can happen. and even when there in water they still breath air, and dry air can cause a respiratory infection.

i like to use ECO EARTH bedding, it keeps humidity like nothing els, its good for about a week with a good mist every day. what kind of top are you using? or you can go with a humidity hut.

actually anacondas are water snakes so them being in the water all the time will not give them water blisters unless you are a dirty person and dont have the proper filters and setups for the water. most anacondas at zoos have water enclosure and dont have water blisters. most people say dont let them stay in water all the time because they dont want to give them the 75%water to 25%land ratio.

contact a zoo with anacondas to get some good info and proper water setups.

http://www.boamaster.com/EnlargedCage.asp?itemid=10

well im not a dirty person and ill keep the water clean but besides moving the waterbowl to the hot side of the cage like ive been told what else can i do to increase humidity. i mist every day but that only does so much. and considering yellows are in water the most what good would a humidity hide do? its a 5’L 3’W 17"T cage.

yes anacondas are almost a water snake, but one problem you find a lot with imports, because there are know regulations when the time they spend in the water, guess what water blisters. and on the zoo topic, i would have to make a guess of 60% of zoos don’t give and don’t have the time to properly House many of the animals, to the best of there abilities. And for you set up, all I’m going to say is real nice zoo like set up. I’m not a real big rubber-maid kind of guy. best of luck to you and your snakes.
