 Bedding??

I have a yellow anaconda and I was wondering about how often should I be changing the bedding? Every 6 months? Once a year?, I’ve only been changing it once a year for now!! Should I be doing it more often?

what kind of "bedding"
i would most likely change it more than once a year regardless ..
most of my animals (the snakes anyway) get their substrate cleaned once a week,, and changed every 3 months..

Ya you need to change it more then once a year, when I used cypress mulch I spot cleaned it once a day and changed it every 2 weeks, it may be more or less for other people but thats me I like my animals to have a clean cage. I use indoor/outdoor carpet now and I take it out and clean it every week and change it every 3 months and it has worked good so far.

I use newspaper and change it whenever it gets soiled. Quick and easy to use and it’s free!

I would be changing the mulch bedding a minimum of every four to six weeks even with spot cleaning. Bacteria love that stuff.
