 What do you feed a full grown anaconda?

i dont kno if i want to know the answer to this...but what do you guys feed a full grown anaconda? i just cant see even large rats being big enough...what other choices are there? rabits? just wondering

pigs... goats... child molesters , nazis , and people who talk in theaters...
.... but yeah.. pigs, and goats of the appropriate size i would imagine... depending on what country you are from...For instants, I believe, that in Indonesia they might be more incline to feed dogs..
but dont know for sure.. as i don’t own Anacondas.. till next week
( this is all assuming you mean green anacondas)

honestly i dont really kno anything about them , i have a gopher snake. But they are huge when they get to be around 20 feet. what do people in america feed them? i have never known anyone to feed a goat or pig thats nuts . but i saw afew pictures of them and like i said i cant see even a full grown rat doing the trick.
When yours gets to be that big what will you feed it?

Captive anacondas are fed pretty much like any of the big constrictors. Rabbits would probably be the most common food for adult greens in the U.S. Some folks with access to them do feed suckling pigs or maybe chickens, but most use rabbits. Keep in mind anacondas take a long time to reach truly enormous sizes and most never get the chance to really reach those sizes in captivity. While the girth of an anaconda is proportionately larger than other snake species, they typically are not found to be as big as people think. A specimen over 16 feet is considered to be a pretty big one and there are loads of pythons out there in captivty larger than that.

you should probably feed a 20 footer a really big rabbit or a pig/goat. if i were you i would get it started on frozed thawed.

Rabbits are by far and away the most popular option I believe. XXL Rats are common too, as well as Chickens and Geese.

Guinea Pigs are typically avoided as they have a much higher fat content that rabbits of the same size.

I have never heard of someone feeding a goat to their anaconda or even to something like a large retic, rock python or burmese, though I know in the wild it would easily be an option.
Pigs on the other hand are rare, but I do know some people who feed fetal or suckling pigs (frozen then thawed) to their larger retics.
