I’ve kept a Mediterranean gecko with five anoles, and its actually grown twice its size (the gecko) and eats just fine. But i don’t know about a house gecko...

I wouldnt mix them. Most pet stores dont know what do. They say to feed anoles 3 crickets a week, which in reality they are ravenous eaters.

not ravenous, opportunistic. if there is food in the cage they will make room for it.

regardless, unless you are using on species as food, do not mix species. they have different parasites, may be immune and carrying a disease that would kill the other, and the ever looming threat of one species just killing the other. they also have different needs. even two animals found on the same stick can have, and generally do have, different needs and diseases.

even in a 100+ gallon tank mixing species is extremely hard. one poster wanted to keep an anole and a few hermits crabs in a 120 gallon. combined, atrax and i have at least 70 years of experience. we both insisted that it would be detrimental to at least one species, if not both. she did it anyway. she stopped posting a few weeks later.

i have a green anole a brown anole and a house gecko in the same tank, they are all growing normall and eating just as much lol, they are quite hardy eaters for their size, lots of people say its bad for them but i have for quite some time and they are all just as healthy as ever as long as they have eough room they should be fine
