 Do anoles eat their eggs?

My anole laid an egg this morning and i was really pleased. It was laid on a rock so i moved it into a feeder cricket tub with soil in the bottom and left the tub in the tank until i bought a light to incubate it. I have just gone in to set up the light and the egg has disappeared. Is it possible that my anole ate it?

That’s a good question.I had a box turtle lay an egg and i’m positive she ate it.

I say this because she was the only one in with it and it was half way gone, when I went to show my wife it was completely gone.
