 HELP Dying Female Anole

My female Anole is dying and I can’t save her. I think she got an egg stuck sideways or it was to big to deliver her egg. I called a Vet they wanted 65.00 to bring into the office and 50.00 per process. I have two small children with ASD. I got the anoles for my son to constrate on, I feed and take general care of. Anybody help me save our little girl.

I know this is blasphemy.. however, if your son is as you say.. could it be possible to toss the dying one an replace it with a healthy new one before it actually dies? Would your son notice the difference?

I know the big cry on the forums is VET this an VET that.. however, for a 6 dollar lizard.. I’d rather put it out of it’s misery and replace it. In fact the only reptiles I vet are the ones that cost me intially 200 or more for the lizard itself. Everything else is disposable. Weigh an average vet bill at 150 if it is indeed sick an needs meds versus the cost of a replacement.

That’s how I got the two males now. The female was a year and half old. I don’t think he notices the difference. At least there are always two in the lizzard tank at all times. He point to them when he finds them.

well they could belooking like there dieing they couldact like they eat then they hide it my old anole it just act like it was eating and week later they could die e less u get to a vet ps: sorry for your anole

this seems really sad but unfortunatly i cant do anything 4 it that is the same way w my green anole lizzy she is pregnant and is always brown but yet she is a green anole ummmmm try calling another vet that is cheaper actually the higher priced vetranarean it is e more experienced he/she i feel really bad if there is anything i can do write back
