 A little help plz.

What do I use as on the floor to breed anoles dirt,calcium sand,aspen wood bedding or does it matter? and do ya cover the eggs with a little dirt after she lays them?

yes it does matter you can use peat moss or mulch and when the anole lays the egg do not keep the egg w/ the adult lizards cuz they could eat it put the egg in a seperate container and bury it about 1 inch into the soil and use a heat lamp to keep it warm at about 85 to 90 degrees

I just read on here some where that said not to use moss or mulch with anoles and besides u just asked a question about tank size (kinda) and then u turn around an answer that other guys question when he asked the same thing u did when it says all over this board 10 GALLON per anole and u have urs in a 7 gallon u answered every 1’s by the way how did u become a pro ina few min? sooo the question still is dirt,calcium sand,aspin bedding for breeding anoles ??? from what i have read it would be organic dirt?? where is this atrax that ppl say is the best??

i dont know who atrax is for one and 2 i used2 have anoles w/peat moss and they lived for 3 1/2 years and i dont know wut ur problem is yea i did ask those questions and dont always believe the internet ppl actually type it into the comp. u need 2 anoles per 10 gallon tank and anything higher u need a bigger tank im not a pro i just sed i no alot about these lizards i just need 2 brush up on the facts on these lizards i havent had any 4 along time and im just trying 2 help ppl w/ problems w/ their pets y r u so moody

awwww...sorry to hear that caleb~!!!! The calcium sand still bothers me because every pet store around here has there tanks set up with calcium sand in it and that’s what all there anoles r in...BUt i useed the potting soil like atrax said.. So sorry bout ur grandma keep ur head up an be strong...

thx but they do keep them w/ snd and they have 2 get rid of the lizards as soon as possible cuz certain kinds of lizards(example:anoles)thy cannot survive in sand and they only keep lizards like gila monsters and lizards like that cuz they were adapted 2 the sand cuz they live in mexico and places like that
