 Brown Anole Egg?

Hi, I’ve had my 3 Brown Anoles for about 3 months now (1 male & 2 females). I came home yesterday to find 1 of my females on top of the screen lid under the spot light. Apparently, she squeezed out of a small hole in the corner (I have filled in this hole). While I was trying catch her I noticed what appeared to be an egg on the rubber tubing of my auto mister. The tubing was behind the tank where I suppose an egg could have fallen and landed on it. It looks like a 1/2" white jelly bean and it’s rubber like. So, I currently placed it in the empty side of my tank. I didn’t bury it, it’s just sitting on the ecoearth.

First, does this sound like an egg?
Second, do I bury it in the ecoearth? If so, how deep? I have about 2" - 3" of it in the tank.
Third, my mister keeps the tank between 50% - 80% humidity. It this sufficient or do I need to mist it directly?
Fourth, how long does it take for an egg to hatch on average?

Thanks in advance. Any other suggestions or ideas are more than welcome.

 Brown Anole Egg?

It sounds like an egg but is most likely infertile. They bury fertile eggs in the substrate.

You can try burying it but be careful not to turn the egg from its original orientation or you may kill the embryo (if present). Bury it just under the surface.

The humidity range is good but I would hand mist the enclosure to make certain there are water droplets for them to durnk on the foliage and sides of the enclosure.

It usually takes 35-40 days if incubated. Add a week if the egg is left in the enclosure and not incubated at 85 degrees.
