 How do u get ur anoles to breed

HEy guys and girls i was wondering if u could help me out. I want to get my two anoles to breed. My sis saw them one day on the hammock with there tails agianst each other and there legs around each other. But, its been like a month now and nothing. So i was wondering how to get them to breed or convince them that it’s mating season. well here’s a pic of them

You have to raise the temperature a couple decrease and lengthen the time the light is on.These acts will make your anoles think it’s spring(mating season) and will begin to mate,this is called brumation

Okay to be more specific ( sorry if I wasn’t before),you should reduce the day length to 8 to 10 hours and shorten the night temperatures to 62-65 degrees for about 2-3 months. Then raise the temperature and prolong the day time back to 12 to 14 hours.
I hoped this helped, sorry for not being to specific before.

Wild Anoles routinely tolerate (and survive) temperatures into the 40’s for surprising lengths of time. Consider that except for the very warmest months, the nighttime temperatures fall into the 50’s and low 60’s on a regular basis. Brumation doesn’t bother them, they just think it is a normal winter.
