Dropped an anole eggs slightly I was looking in my tank and saw an egg. I had thought previously that one of my anoles was pregnant, and so she was. So i went to scoop the egg up with a spoon and upon doing so it rolled of the spoon. I then placed it in a cup in a substrate soil with a heat lamp above it. I was just wondering if it was still possible for me to incubate the anole egg. Please give me your expertise. thanks.

Dropped an anole eggs slightly Possibly -- if the jolt didn’t kill the embryo. All you can do is try.

Dropped an anole eggs slightly I’m no to sure if i have it right side up or not and the fall was nothing more than an inch. It just rolled off the spoon. Also i found two more eggs the next morning and nothing happened with them. no fall, right side up and they have dents in them and are a little yellow, but the first egg is solid and still white what does that mean? Thanks.

Dropped an anole eggs slightly The dented yellow ones are likely infertile.

Dropped an anole eggs slightly a while back, my anoles mated and laid an egg, i did everything that a website said to do and the egg died, then several weeks later; i found a little baby anole sitting near my other anoles, i suppose that they must have buried another egg that i was unaware of and i never found it, the anole lived fine, but eventually i had to move to another state and i gave all of my anoles away

Anole eggs are not like bird eggs and do not like to be moved any movement could damage or kill the embryo. I too learned that the hard way. One day I was cleaning the terrarium and I found an egg. I moved it a little to much and it eventually died.
