| well... they most likely turn brwon to absorb more light, rays, and what-not... when it’s not on, it’s obvious to them they’ve got no sourc of heat to absorb, so they turn green, because brown won’t do them any good. In my experience, as long as they’re not nearly black, and as long as they’re under-side is still whote, green and light-brown are almost interchangable..... try heating it up a little, or putting the bulb close to the basking spot |

Actually what we did today was take them outside, duh? why didnt i think of that before? One ata time took them out and they loved it..they stayed greener alot longer today after we brought them in. I just got home from work my daughter had fallen asleep with the UV light on and they were pretty green but i turned it off anyway. Thanks for the advice... |

| well.... were they in your hand outside? if you hold them, they’ll turn green no-matter what, because of your body heat. You know, i’ve heard many a time that as long as you supplement their diet, the vitamins it gets with UV aren’t important |

| I use electrolizer, you should be able to do without it, it helps recover from stress, i figure then whenever it drinks, it’ll help its stress level... ANYWAY all the stuff thatmis in UV lighting is also in reptivite.. |
