This 1 is a mythbuster well, my pet-store anole is doing pretty good right now, its about his.... third or fourth week, but I’ll tell you what, you might have heard of "mybabydragon.com"? well i bought one from one of their little orphanages at a flea market for $15 (before i knew how mu they cost) and it evntualy stopped eating, so i had to hand feed it, and then it died, and that was about 3 1/2 weeks after i got it

This 1 is a mythbuster My green anoles are doing quite well considering that they were store bought. My last pair of anoles were from a store and unfortunately the female(Mioshi) died after 2 1/2 years but I still have my male(Meeco) who I’ve had for 3 years. I also bought another female(Yoshiko) about 2 weeks ago and she’s so happy and healthy(and pregnant). So I’d have to say that certain stores have quite a few healthy anoles....you just have to look around. Good luck with everything!

This 1 is a mythbuster When you buy form a pet store the best thing to do is wait until they have no more in stock an have them order straight from a breeder. The you need to have them quarantine the anoles for about a week to make sure they are eating and healthy and you should have no problems.I have had mine for a long time and they are perfect. I also have day geckos in with them and it works well.

This 1 is a mythbuster if you know what a healthy anole looks like than you should have no trouble keeping a store bought anole alive. don’t always pick the biggest. Pick the brightest and the more lively ones. have the clerk put his/her hand in the cage and pick the anole that runs away the fastest. anoles that die within weeks of being bought are not healthy when they are purchased.
