Can anoles swim in deep/shallow water????
I really wonder if they can swim?!? I am not sure if they can, I I am too scared to test it out for fear of loosing my babies, (or stressing them out to death)DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THEY POSESS THE ABILITY TO SWIM?!? Many times when any of my anoles has gotten dehydrated I usually take them into a nice warm bath with me, because the humidity is very relaxing and rehydrating for them. They just spread out on my hot skin and relax!! I’ve never seen them so happy and green! There have been a few incidents when one of them has jumped off me and slipped into the water. I ALWAYS PANIC!! from what I can tell they only tend squiggle downwards into the water. They look like little tad-poll submarines!! I always quickly snap them up out of the water before I really know if they have the ability to swim or not.---again too scared to kill them. ANYONE???? I read a much earlier posting of someone who had an anole that she would fill up the sink to let it swim in.... Sincerely yours ~*~NikkE~*~
