Change in Anole I’ve had an anole for about a month now, and he has mostly been green for the time I’ve had him. He’s also in the cage with a gecko, but the gecko stays underneath a log in the same hiding spot each day, so they are no threat to each other. However, recently, I brough in more sticks for the anole to climb. Since the sticks have been in, he has been a constant shade of brown, but he loves staying on the sticks. Should I take them out, because other then that he has no climbing area, or leave them in?

Change in Anole do the sticks get him closer to the light? iv noticed that they tend to be brown the closer they are to a light, they seem to hange color based on necessity and when they’re brown, they can absorb more heat

Change in Anole Yes, the sticks do allow him to get closer to the light, but he tends to stay brown even when hes not near the light, or on the sticks.

Change in Anole He’s staying green more often now, but still not as before. I’m thinking it might just be due to stress of having the enviornment switched up a bit.
