A few QUICK (maybe) questions I have gone through and read a good deal of the past posts so if someone has already answered this, I’m sorry I missed it. Essentially my problem is with my male anoles coloring. I have not had him very long, I would estimate 4 weeks. His coloring was great for a few weeks, and I am not having problems with him being all brown. I am however, seeing that he has a lateral stripe down his back of splotchy brown and he also has it on his head. In addition to this I am noticing some white spots on him, they do not appear to be moving. This started about 2 days ago and I have kept a very sharp eye on him, it has not gotten any worse. He did however shed for the first time (since I’ve had him) yesterday. My question is if this is normal for when males shed or if I should assume it’s something more serious? In case it’s important my setup is as follows: 10 gallon glass aqaurium, moss substrate UVA/UVB bulb and basking lamp 3 ground plants, 2 hanging plants (all fake none that are hard plastic) a resin turtle cave a rock formation and a vine I mist about 3-4 times a day (filtered water), my temperature is usualy about 80 on the warm side and 75 on the cool. He gets fed about 3-4 small crickets as often as he’ll eat them (usually every other day).
