Stinky anole water? 
i have three anoles and am moving them to a larger viv to make room for some geckos. the question i have is do they crap in water or on soil. i presently have one of those waterfall things but am thinking of making my own more realistic waterfall with a amall pond. at the moment they dont, but was just wondering if they will deficate in water like water dragons if they have a bigger expanse of water.

It’s funny how now that this thread is back near the top of the list I have a similar situation. I beleive the anoles may be intentionally using the waterfall as a toilet but maybe not all 4 of them. The end of the bend-a-branch hangs over the waterfall and I’ll fix that if it keeps happening. I don’t think it’s a good idea to use septic water to increase the humidity by 10%. The water hasn’t really stunk but when I cleaned it today what was in the water didn’t look pretty.
