Cuban Anole I just found a baby (tiny, maybe 5 inches) and right now it has a cage with some branches and a den with proper reptile bedding, local pet store owner just said a 60 watt bulb was fine for it, but should I use a black light? also I read somewhere that anoles can get burned by a heating rock (actually read it in this forum somewhere in a google search) is that true?...but right now its eating crickets since its small, but when it gets bigger what should I feed it? and what other recomendations do others have out there?thanks for any and all help -Lucas

Cuban Anole you need proper reptile uva lights and possibly a ceramic bulb to keep the viv warm at night. i wouldnt touch those heat rocks with a barcge pole, a friend had one for his beardie and it burnt it.

Cuban Anole also, whats a "proper" sized tank for them? right now its so small its in a cage maybe 36’ long and 12’ wide and 18’ deep, is that big enough?I plan on building a bigger cage as it grows. and is it possible to put other lizards (small iguana, water dragon, leapord gecko) with the anole once it gets bigger?
