HELP!!!I think my anole is SICK!!!! 
I have had this anole for almost 1 year....I just noticed last night that he has 2 big bumps on each side of the back of his neck...almost like mumps but more towards his back rather than his neck. Does anybody know what this might possibly be? I’m afraid that it might be fatal. Please help!!!!!!!!! Thank you.

Dont worry... my anole has a bump on his tail.. i dont know what it is from but i dont think it is fatal! but i have a question... is your anole always brown or is does it change green most of the time (brown means it is unhappy)! thankx

Correction. Brown does not mean the anole is unhappy.
Anoles thermoregulate, meaning that if it is not warm enough it will turn darker to absorb more heat. Green anoles also turn brown due to stress not because they are unhappy.

He normally is green for most of the time. Although he is brown sometimes.

the bumps can be caused by a fungus that anoles sometimes get from being in close contact with their own feces (poop). if it is not treated properly than it can make your anole very sick. I think a visit to the vet is needed if the bumps do not go away. if he is still lively and active and eating, i wouldn’t worry too much.
