what other lizards can i put with my anole.i was thinking tree frogs and grasslizards.

Hmmm.... well you can yous red eyed tree frogs i think thats what their called but just not things that are bigger then them... it will get eaten!

ive got red eyed tree frogs with my anoles and they are fine, in fact they never really see each other as retf’s are nocturnal. get a moon light so you can see them though. get rid of that cage carpet though or at least cover it with organic soil.

mixing species is bad... u should never mix species, they all have their own unique bacteria they produce. but if mix that bacteruia u will probally kill both species...

it is fine to put long tailed grass lizards or even house gecko’s (they’re temperate but can live just fine with anoles) they eat the same food and since one is diurnal and the other is nocturnal they won’t fight over food. I had a green anole and a house gecko that seemed to actually be friends.

since they often mix in the wild i am not worried about bacteria killing each other. as long as you keep their tanks clean and give them plenty of space you should be fine. i have kept tree frog and anoles together for just under 2 years. thats longer than a lot of people keep their anoles! my oldest anole is nearly 6years old.
